Roderick, the innovative mind behind a successful brand services startup, 456 Lifestyles LLC, is now making waves in the music industry with his upcoming EP, inspired by his journey across 20 countries. After a transformative relocation to Montréal, Roderick has fully dedicated himself to his music, anticipating the release of his new project that merges travel experiences with his passion for sound.
In winter 2023, Roderick embarked on a journey into the world of music production, mastering today’s industry-standard audio software for mixing and production. His dedication culminated in the release of his first mixtape on November 26, 2024. The project quickly gained traction, receiving positive reviews and achieving #1 status across multiple Mixcloud charts, including Rave, Opera, DJ Mixes, DJ Edits, Big Room House, and Mashups.
December 2024 marked another milestone for Roderick as he made his debut as an international DJ in Montréal, showcasing his impeccable mixing skills to an enthusiastic crowd. “Performing has always been something I’ve been a part of, and I’ve kept it close to me,” he shared. “Now, playing live globally makes me feel excited and even more hopeful about a career in music performance.”
Since his debut, Roderick has been busy in the studio, collaborating with producers, engineers, and songwriters. He is currently fine-tuning tracks for his forthcoming EP, which is expected to include at least two confirmed tracks, with the possibility of a third. “I have new music. It’s original; it’s mine, and I really hope listeners like it as much as I do,” he remarked.
Born in Charlotte, NC, Roderick grew up in environments filled with aspiring talents and future stars. At the age of 21, he moved to New York City to pursue modeling, which led him to travel extensively and immerse himself in diverse cultures. Now, he aims to channel his worldly experiences into music that resonates. “I want to create powerful music that inspires people to feel good, own their moments, and appreciate their blessings,” he said.
While no official release date has been announced, fans can expect the EP to drop as early as this spring. Roderick is eager to share his artistic journey with the world, further solidifying his presence in the music scene.
